The principle Fiberreed

The target of Fiberreed is to maintain the sound and all the positive properties of the natural Arunda Donax reeds as precise as possible for the synthetic reeds for clarinet and saxophone. But all the negative properties should should be eliminated.

The research work of Harry Hartmann, the founder of Fiberreed, have shown that there are essentially two characteristics of the natural reeds being responsible for the sound quality: the longitudinal supply channels and the cellular structure surrounding these channels.

This perfect principle of the nature has then been "simulated" in detail with the reeds from FIBERREED.
